What makes FOLEX different from other spot and stain removers?

FOLEX has been formulated specifically to remove virtually any spot and stain from any colorfast carpet or material that can be safely dampened with water. FOLEX achieves these amazing results without using solvents or other hazardous chemicals.

Will FOLEX attract dirt back to the cleaned area? No. FOLEX is Non-Ionic (it has neither a positive or negative electrical charge) so FOLEX will not attract dust or dirt back to the cleaned area. And because FOLEX does not contain oily solvents, or leave a soapy residue, the spots will not come back.

Will FOLEX remove old stains?
Yes. As long as the stains have not dyed or bleached the carpet or material.

Will FOLEX remove the factory applied stain resistant treatment from my carpet?
No. Because FOLEX contains no petroleum distillates, or other organic solvents, it will not remove stain resistant chemicals properly applied at the time of manufacture.

What carpets or materials should FOLEX not be used on? FOLEX should not be used on any carpet or material that could be damaged by water. You should always test a hidden area of a carpet or material for color fastness and color stability with FOLEX, before using FOLEX on a visible area.

What spots or stains will FOLEX not completely remove? If the carpet or material has been Dyed, FOLEX can help by removing the excess dyeing substance from the carpet or material, but it will not change the color back. For example, some red drinks, yellow mustard, and hair dye, (if left on too long) will permanently change the color of the carpet or material. The key is to get to these types of stains as quickly as possible, so that FOLEX can remove them before they permanently change the color of the carpet or material.

Will my children and pets be safe playing in areas cleaned with FOLEX?
Yes. FOLEX is non-toxic, completely non-irritating to normal skin, requires no ventilation, and will not break down into dangerous byproducts.

Chemically: FOLEX is a Water Based Non-Ionic Surfactant

WATER BASED means that it uses water to wash the stain away, for safety, and virtually residue free cleaning. Unlike some soap, solvent, or oil based cleaners that could be smelly, toxic, flammable, leave a sticky residue, or damage the carpet backing.

NON-IONIC means that it does not have a positive (+) or a negative (-) charge... therefore it will not attract or repel dust and dirt, so that the cleaned area will soil uniformly with the surrounding area. The spot will not reappear!

SURFACTANT means that it is an emulsifying agent that reduces surface tension... So it breaks up the stain, and surrounds it, so that it can be removed by blotting with a dry cloth or paper towel.

Removes: FOLEX is effective on these and many more spots and stains...Ashes, Crayon, Grass, Many Inks, Soft Drinks, Auto Oil, Dirt, Grime, Pet Accidents, Tea, Beach Tar, Fireplace, Soot, Household, Grease, Potting Soil, Tobacco, Blood, Food , Ice Cream, Road Tar, Toothpaste, Car Grease, Food Oil, Ketchup, Rust, Urine, Coffee, Fruit Juice, Lipstick, Sauces Varnish, Copy Toner, Furniture Polish, Makeup, Shoe Polish Vomit

Works on: FOLEX is not just for carpets! FOLEX is safe for any material that is both colorfast and color stable, including hard surfaces, that can be safely dampened with water, such as...

Upholstery Clothing Draperies Car Interiors Walls Woodwork Floors and More!

Your Safety and Comfort: FOLEX is...

Non-Toxic, completely non-irritating to normal skin
Non-Flammable, contains no solvents of any kind
Odor-Free, no unpleasant chemicals
CFC and Petroleum Free

Removing Carpet Spots:

Test the carpet to be cleaned for Color Fastness and Color Stability by applying FOLEX on a hidden area of the carpet, such as in the corner of a closet. Only use FOLEX on colorfast, and color stable carpets.

Spray a generous amount of FOLEX on the spot. The heavier the stain, the more FOLEX will be needed to remove it, but do not over saturate the spot, as this could drop the stain into the carpet backing.

Gently agitate FOLEX into the spot with your fingers (or the handle of a spoon). Do not scrub the area, or use a brush, because you can damage the carpet fibers.

As you agitate, FOLEX releases the stain from the carpet fibers into the FOLEX solution, so that it can be blotted up.

Blot up the spot with a clean, absorbent cloth or paper towel. Most stains will be removed with a single application of FOLEX. On tougher stains, you may have to repeat the process.

FOLEX does not contain hazardous chemicals, or leave a sticky residue, so No Rinsing Or Vacuuming Is Necessary!

Removing Upholstery Stains:

First read the label on the upholstered item to see if it is sold as colorfast. If it is, then test the upholstery to be cleaned for Color Fastness and Color Stability by applying FOLEX on a hidden area. Only use FOLEX on colorfast, and color stable upholstery. If the upholstery can be removed from the furniture, such as with some cushions, remove the upholstery and follow the Removing Clothing Spots directions. If the Upholstery cannot be removed from the furniture:

Apply just enough FOLEX on the spot to dampen the stained area, do not over saturate the spot, as that can push the stain down into the furniture or cushion.

Gently agitate FOLEX into the spot with your finger, in the same direction as the grain of the material.

Using a clean cloth or paper towel, press the spot out. Do not rub or scrub the material, and never use a brush.

Most spots will require you to repeat this process at least once to completely remove the spot. Be sure to use a clean and dry area of the cloth or paper towel you are using to press the spot out, after each application of FOLEX.

No rinsing is required, and FOLEX will not leave a sticky residue.

36 oz spray bottle.
